The Wine
Pach is born in Sant Cugat de Sesgarrigues, from a variety that for decades held a prominent position in the great red wines of Penedès and the province of Barcelona.
The cooler conditions of 2020 allowed for slow ripening, controlled concentration and preserved a freshness rarely found in more classic interpretations of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Measured extraction preserved the fruit and the tannin's texture. The 12 months in French oak barrels provided depth, structure and ageing potential without masking its identity.
The result is a structured and serene red, where black fruit, balsamic notes, freshness and wood coexist naturally.
A contemporary interpretation that reclaims its history and anticipates its return. Because some varieties don't disappear: they wait to be understood anew.
TASTING NOTE
Appearance
Deep garnet red, with ruby reflections and a chromatic evolution that begins to reveal the passage of time.
Clear and bright, it anticipates structure without conveying heaviness.
Nose
Deep and evolving, with blackcurrant, plum and dark cherry, accompanied by balsamic notes and Mediterranean herbs.
With aeration, graphite, cedar, fine tobacco, spices and hints of undergrowth emerge.
The French oak is well integrated, adding complexity without masking the fruit's freshness.
Palate
Firm and precise entry, with an acidity that keeps the entire palate alive.
